November 22, 2014 in Mission Beach, California we photographed a number of very good surfers in larger than normal wave conditions. This photo catches this surfer mid-air as he has surfed up the face of the wave from the left to the right and is turning 180 degrees in the air to head back the other direction. The white water to his left is the wake from surfing up the face. And yes, he made the ride!

Your comments are very appreciated. Without feedback from you on NPN, my growth as a photographer would be stunted!
