Looks absolutely forbidding. As a b/w photo, some work on the mountain tonalities to add more white and more detail to it, if possible, would bump up this stark image a good bit.

Interesting composition. I agree with Phillip that the darks of the foreground peak and the whites in the spires could be brought up.

I am amazed that you fly in these conditions  I have to agree that the foreground peak is pretty dark and that the snow could be brought up. There is also that little light area bottom right that I would remove. Dramatic scene.

Tom, I like the scene alot but do agree with the others that the foreground peak is pretty dark and the snow could be brought up a fair amount. Would be interesting to see how it looked that way anyways. You see such amazing scenes!

My only comment about the luminosity of the dark side of the peaks is there is about 12 stops difference between the dark shadowed rock and the high values of the clouds. I might have been able to pull a bit more out of it with the Hasselblad CFV 50 which can maybe pull 14 stops with a perfect exposure. Aerial photography is a snap shooting effort (especially if you are also flying the plane) and sometimes I am amazed that there is any composition at all.

Amazing view!! Lots of drama with the strong contrasts, turbulent skies and sheer peaks. Great image!!
