Here is a recent image I obtained of a handsome male Northern Cardinal. He offered a nice pose. Comments and critiques are welcomed.

A nice pose and sharp detail. Good contrasting background. If this were mine I'd probably delete-content aware the branch in the upper left and the branch in front of the cardinal.

Very nice capture here. Very sharp and the background is great. I would move the bird to the left so that he is less centered. That would eliminate most, if not all the branch that Allen mentioned.

Oh, I do long for the cardinal here in Colorado so appreciate you sharing such a fine detailed fellow. If my photo, I too would rid it of the branch in front of him but have no problem with the branch BG left. In fact that branch provides a framing from my perspective.

Super shot of this Cardinal Charles. The details are very sharp and the green background contrasts with the bird nicely. He gave you a sweet head turn too. I think the suggestions on some branch removal would improve this image a lot. Nice capture indeed!

Beautiful bird. I like the contrast from the bird to the BG a lot.
I agree about cloning out the branch on the top left

Thank you all for the comments! I will consider the suggestions, but I will say I am pleased with the detail that was captured! Much appreciated. :wavey:

Very nice picture of the cardinal. Personally I would leave it in its "natural state" and not clone out anything.

Nice one Charles I agree about the branch but not the end of the wrold . A little more space on the right would be good to bringthe bird left a bit.
You have a good camera though!!!
