First Shot with my new Sony A77ii
Cold windy Northern Ontario Day. This swing blew around in the wind as both the tree and I longed for Summer.

Nice first shot. Your angle catching the blowing snow, and the empty swing both emphasize the bleakness of the long winter. I usually like snow to appear as white and bright, but the somewhat dim appearance here is absolutely perfect to capture the mood here on one of those gray sky days. I hope you will be using the new camera in the spring to capture a different mood. In the meantime, there are lots of other moods to capture in the many faces of winter.

Gary, This image is all about mood and you captured it perfectly. Nice first shot with that new camera!

I like the statement you're making. One can interpret that swing hanging from the tree in many ways, but it makes a person think and that's what good images do.

Looks like a cold and forlorn spot for a swing. Can't blame you for longing for summer.

Congrats on the new camera.

I like the composition and the swing is what adds interest to the image.
