I went out yesterday afternoon and this morning for some birding, to a neighbor city.

I've done some photo, which I'll share during the week.

I'll start with one from yesterday, of an burrowing owl.

Canon 7D, 500mm f/4
f/8, 1/200, ISO 200, -0.7

Love this owl - great perch too as you often see them on the ground. Real nice background and details all around

He looks like he needs a cup of coffee. These guys always seem to display human expressions and emotions. The background is awesome and really shows off the subject. Great capture.

Cracking Owl pose on a super b/g really fixes you with that stare.
