Another (and probably the last) Say's Phoebe I'll post from the Bosque.

I like the overall color palette of this image with the perch/background/bird.

I also liked the pensive pose

Canon 7D Mark II
500mm f/4
1/3200 @ f/5.6
ISO 640

Small Crop, NR applied to the background.

You "like" the overall colour palette?! I LOVE the overall colour palette! This is simply exquisite in my books. Incredibly beautiful to look at. Insert a bunch of superlatives. Just stunning.

The warmth of this image is stunning. And of coarse the detail is impeccable. :toast:

Hi Keith, great shot & super pose of the phoebe. Details are sharp and the colors are unbelievable! If it were mine I would have probably included less of the perch. (Not saying right or wrong) I wonder what a horizontal crop would look like. Well done! :toast:

Hi Keith,

Color coordinated for sure--everything matches up with a warm glow. The pose is nice and you can see that tiny hook on the tip of the bill :toast: ...................Jim

Keith,
The matching perch, bird, and background color palette just blow me away. The perch is really interesting and with the pensive, alert pose you captured you've got one heck of a nice image. The head angle is nearly perfect, you've captured a catch light in the eye, and she is pretty sharp . Nothing to nit on this shot. Just beautiful!! :toast:

Nice complimentary colors for this Phoebe. I also like the head turn and position in the frame. Nice work Keith.

This has a very nice feel for winter in the south-west, I love the colors too. A pleasantly composed and very sharp photo Keith.
