Ho Rob, now this, pardon the pun, 'floats my boat'. :toast:

Lovely POV, low, eye level, not looking down so you miss the eye contact, with this you feel in the water with the subject. Nice, rich colours, not over saturated, great detail with a simple line to break up the water. Good use of blur(?) to soften the environment and give prominence to the subject, it all just works, one cracking, fine shot, nice one!!!!

Oh yeah..... I like this a lot. The POV is superb. The shimmer in the foreground is really nice leading to the duck, then the nicely composed and sharp bird, then the lovely complimentary background. All the components of a great image. :toast:

Hey Rob,
Stephen and Keith covered the positive reactions to this image already and since there is nothing negative to say, I'll just confirm that the POV is outstanding.

Sweet shot Rob! As others have said that low POV is fantastic. Nice detail in the duck and I love the splashes of color in the BG. Well done! :toast:

Rob,
Looks like you donned some scuba gear to capture the super low angle. Simply Superb. Tack sharp, great exposure, and beautiful coloration. There is a round OOF off gray blob roughly half way between the ducks head and the edge of the page that could probably be toned down or eliminated entirely. Sweet capture Rob. You're making my back hurt just thinking about the positioning you got in to capture this.
