A Black-capped Chickadee taking a break. I had decent light and I liked the pose. Cropped to vertical from horizontal.

Thanks for looking, all comments & suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Very pleasing image. Excellent details and exposure to hold details in the blacks and whites. I also like the pleasing background.

Simply a very well executed Chickadee image Steve. No nits form me. I like the diagonal perch, head turn and great job on the techs.

Hey Steve, the diagonal of the perch provides a strong composition and I like the head angle, just gets enough light & detail into that eye, even a catchlight too. :toast: Like the overcast conditions and complimentary BKG. Great to see the detail from the 7D, it's not a body I feel offers latitude in Exposure, you must get it right, so nice one in nailing it.
