Expertly taken. Good balance and many places to rest the eyes.

Really nice little scene, Jerry. It is filled with nice detail and a certain amount of mystery in dark shadows. Pleasing composition and perfect SS .

Pretty little stream and image. I am on the fence about the bit of vegetation lower left, but pretty minor.

A nice forest scene. It looks peaceful, and I can almost hear the water. I'm a little on the fence with the hanging branches left of the tree trunk, though. The tonality and color are very natural.

Nice scene - good choice of SS. The tree in the middle of the composition I find distracting though because everything is flowing from the upper left to the lower right, and the naked tree trunk is vertical. If you aren't opposed to such things - trying photoshopping it out

Thanks everyone for all the kind comments and useful critiques. I decided to clone out a few things suggested by some of you. I am not much of a "cloner", but decided to try this for the experience and to see if it provided for a better image. Additional comments on the repost are welcome.

Hi Jerry,

This is nice representation of quiet stream in the Smoky's, and the repost work better for me with the tree trunk removed from the image. I kind of like the darker original as the darkness seems to fit better with the gentle nature of this image. I vote for tree removed, and a tad bit darker in the repost.
