Hi all.

I have been going through my hard drive, culling images from the last year. I have a few that I have processed. I will post some of them. Any and all thoughts (especially constructive criticism) appreciated.

Thanks!

Nathan

The detail on the center is simply stunning ! My only suggestion would be a more square crop, if you have the bytes. The rectangular crop sort of blunts the symmetry of the center, and the top and bottom look a bit too tight. I hope this helps! :toast:

This is beautiful, Nathan! There is only one thing I would change. The white part of the petal at the top and center of the image is a little bit of a distraction to me, so I think it might be better if that could be removed or made to blend in better.

Symmetry, color, frosted highlights, detail and leading lines in this appropriately named image work well together to produce a stunning image. Good work, Nathan! Good as is.

Nathan: Believe it or not we had some of these still blooming through Christmas. Good classic presentation but I do agree on advising a 5:4 or even 7:6 ratio. Beautiful color palette. >=))>

Lovely, crisp feel to this, Nathan - excellent detail in the centre where there is a nice sense of depth. I might just here and there reduce the frosting effect, but a strong image as is.

Stunning color and wonderful textures. I agree with the crop suggested for a stronger image. Wonderful detail.
