While waiting for the ducks to show, I spotted this turtle. I figured, why not. So, here is my somewhat unconventional post. I liked the creamy water and the reflection. Processed using Lightroom 5 and Photoshop CC 2014. Comments and critiques welcome.

Canon 7D Mark II
Canon 200-400 f4 L IS
f5.6
1/800s
ISO 160
Focal Length 560mm (Teleconverter engaged)

A great background for the colors on this turtle's head.

Good one, Jerry. I like the texture of the golden water in the focal zone. I think I would tweak slightly to remove some foreground and a proportional sliver on right to make him a little more prominent in the frame and moving him more to the lower right third, thereby positioning his triangular shaped head to look even more toward the middle, emphasizing the soft rolling surface of the water as a secondary interest point. Hope that makes sense!

I like the water color and reflection, I agree with Lon on cropping some to move him out of the middle of the frame. :toast:
