This works well, Preston. I like the position of the leaves in the frame. Overall this is nicely composed and the various elements come together for a great image.

Well-seen, Preston. The comp works well, but I feel that the position of the gently-shaded area on the bottom works against this image. While the brighter leaf in the upper right seems to dominate because of the light, the size of the lower-central leaf seems to beg for attention at the same time that the light there gives me the feeling that it's sort of fading away. I enjoy the elements separately, but in combination, I get sort a a sinking feeling when my eye is drawn to the bottom. (Warning, this may have something to do with me being left-handed, and somewhat dyslexic. )

The leaves look very natural Preston and the processing is excellent. I'm particularly attracted to the foliage in the lower left area, probably because of how the light plays off their surface.

A very nice intimate scene with very nice tones and colors Preston. I might be tempted to darken the lower left as it pulls my eye a bit. Your usual very natural processing and nicely done.

Well now, after Wayne's last image, I have to ask if the leaves were placed or natural? Just kidding! I could care less one way or the other. I like the comp and the light on the upper leaves. Nice detail throughout.

I can almost see the curled leaves in 3D!!! Not sure how you pulled that one off, but it is a really gorgeous effect (better seen in the large version)> :toast:

Hi Preston,

I like how the soft lighting produced some depth to the curls and wrinkles in the leaves. My eye goes for the bright yellow leaf which provides the strength in the composition.....................Jim

Nice scene, but I might consider a gradient from the lower left corner toward the upper right and brightened in the lower mid tones. I can send you an example later if it doesn't make any sense (I only have Elements at work and it lacks a lot of tools).

Beautiful composition.  This is why I love fall and all the turning leaves and it's just around the corner.  Thanks for sharing.
