I couldn't help but smile when I saw this image on the computer for the first time. Of course, this was not noticed while shooting, as the ring-necked hen was moving rather quickly when I captured a three or four shot burst. It really looks as if she is whispering to her nearby buddies that she has spotted a strange creature pointing a big tube at her. Funny. Taken late in the day at a nearby lake.

Processed using Lightroom 5 and Photoshop CC2014. Comments and critiques welcome.

Very nice image. The overall monochromatic color palette is very easy on the eyes. The pose is just too much!! Great work

Vary enjoyable image and narrative. I also like the colors. I am not sure but I think just a tad of cw rotation might help. A real fun image.

Love this Jerry, Cute factor is great. Details are very sharp and that famous golden water looks good too. Looks to me like she's playing shy.
