Great pose and the detail is to die for. I like the ruffled feathers and the intense look. Well done; as usual.

Wow! The feather detail is superb. I think the image needs to be darkened a bit. The sky is a little pale and the dark feathers look a bit too bright. The "hand of man" perch is not ideal, but it is not a deal breaker by any means. A very nice image regardless.

Nice capture Scott, it looks like windy day. Details look good but I agree with Jerry that the image appears a little bright. I would bring the exposure down a bit and see if that looks better. Well done!

This was such a great image, I couldn't resist downloading it and tweaking the white balance and darks. I think it was an improvement. With your permission, I could post my tweaks.

Scott,

The teaks are minor, but I think they help. What do you think?

I like it -- gives the hawk a lot more pop -- now I'm encouraged to work on it a bit more. Thanks for taking the time and sharing

Nice pose and detail on this one Scott. I agree with Jerry about it looking a tiny bit overexposed. I saw the repost and think it is on the money. Nice work! :toast:

Hi Scott,

Well done. I like the feather details, pose, and the contrast between bird, perch, and sky. I like what Jerry has done to improve the exposure :toast: ............................Jim
