Interesting take on this Teton shot, Tom. I like the framing here, but it feels a little tight on top. I also think that it needs some clockwise rotation. I lived on the Idaho side of the Tetons for nearly thirty years and love to see shots from there.

Excellent design. You have strong element from front to back and from bottom to top. There are no 'dead' areas of interest. The light conditions were not too favorable for you on this one. A different time of day or a day with diffused light could have made things look less harsh.

We were visiting my son who lives in Wilson at the base of the pass. The whole time we were in the area was cloudless blue skies. I actually prefer the drama of clouds and dynamic weather. Summer when the thunderheads build every afternoon is less colorful but more variable and exciting. Thinking back to nearly 50 years ago when I went there for climbing and hiking.

A nicely put together scene with some nice colors and details in it Tom. Maybe a bit tight at the top but no biggie. Nice job handling the bright light also. Well done.

Nice color and composition. I think it might also work to crop up close to the rocks.

Agree about the rotation. Very good color and details. Nicely exposed. I do find the log in the FG a bit distracting and think you could crop it out and have a stronger image just MHO. Thanks for sharing.

Nice scene, Tom. I'm on the fence with the larger diagonal log. I'd definitely clone out those two grass stalks at the bottom left of the image. I like how peaceful this feels.
