Moon Rise
by Richard Teller
I am starting to play with using moon light to light my images. It is a very soft light. Last night the moon was 97% full and was not suppose to come up until and hour after the end of twilight, so I could shoot a dark sky and some moon images. When the moon came up it had that great orange-red glow. This is a merge of two images for exposure. One for the moon and one for the landscape. I also had to do some dodging to bring out detail in the landscape and clouds. Thanks for your comments and critiques.

Simple, direct, half-abstract subject and composition, very good sharpness, colour control and low noise....
all works for the general quality and fascination of the image.
All the best,
