I really like the horizontal and vertical lines of the rocks working together. And the glow on the leaves as well. Very lovely scene.
I'd like it to go on more to the right...but thats my eyes being greedy. :)

Hey Harley,
Well seen and presented image with a wonderful color pallet and perfect DOF. I agree with Jeff at how well the fore ground horizontal lines and the back ground vertical lines in the rock formations work so well together.
Man !

The color contrast works really well in an almost minimalist composition - nicely seen!!

Bravo Harley. From my perspective this is the best you've done in weeks, better than the broader landscapes (which I also liked, but this is special).
The two-toned reds separating the fg from the bg is really effective. The lighted outline of the fg is great. And that richly colored background those nuanced tones. It's an image full of color without appearing as though it has been 'manufactured'. I love this composition but can see possible verticals using that vertical crack and parallel lines. I would be interested in exploring some color modifications in the greens of that bush to see how they go with that background. Maybe a big more yellow, a more limeish green?
A truly masterful image.

Yep, this is a wonderful image. I could see a bit more punch from the bush as Igor mentioned if you are into that sort of thing but there's nothing wrong with your understated approach. Kudos for a great photograph.

Hi Harley,
This image is awesome, and I could not truly appreciate until I got home from work. This image is simply elegant, and I am loving red canyon walls. The larger version is such a treat, and the tree/bush is wonderfully placed. I think the colors look pretty darn good, but I wonder if you have captured a vertical image as well? I would love to see that presentation of this scene too.
Wonderful photography!! You have been on fire lately with your images!!!

Wonderful details in this wall of red rock. The small tree is a necessity in this composition to bring the eyes on the details found in the FG and after, with dried part of it, to send us in the BG. I like it.

Love the composition here, Harley. The up on the ledge isolated plant is framed nicely with all the red rock around it. Hard to beat UT for the contrasting desert colors like this.

Very nicely composed and processed. It seems to almost have a glow about it that's so alluring. The BG walls really reach out and pull you in when viewed large.

Beautiful work, Harley. With the foreground horizontal and the backround vertical lines you have captured a very dramatic image.

I am amazed about the light, it has a very special glow, especially on the wall in the background. That looks really special! The tree looks almost like som otherworldly creature peeking over the edge of the cliff. Very nice image!
