16 commentsWonderful warmth and great BG with this Brian. You are so good with the birds. Thanks for posting.
Very pretty light. Nice pose with the perfect head turn.
Sweet light and perfect pose.
The bird is top notch no doubt but what I find makes this a fantastic image is the BG with the bow of the barbed wire. Really special, thanks for posting it Brian.
Brian: superb in all respects, light, subject and composition. Congrats, Richard
Echo all the comments, this one is a beauty in all aspects. Nice work, Brian.
Beautiful soft light ,bird itself looks excellent.

Utterly gorgeous, Brian. The early morning light really suits this bird.

Outstanding . . .
Love the light.
Great! Love the light, pose, and background. I am still trying to get this species.
I love this photo, Brian! That background is fantastic. I love the gradient of it, and the earth-tones compliment the bird perfectly. And of course that light!
One small nit is that I might want to crop so that the barb on the left isn't right at the edge. I would either crop it out completely or leave a little room between the barb and the edge, but that's really minor.
Love the early light & it's the perfect complimentary BG Brian.
Sharp details, a nice head turn, and some very nice warm color too..
Excellent
Wow Brian, a very striking image! The light, pose, colors, and background are amazing. I do not love the perch, but including man-made objects in images is very much a personnal decision. Thanks for posting, Dave
Wonderful light and a beautiful pose, great work!
