Grebe Finish Line

This is a photo from March 10, 2015.  I might have posted it along with the other Grebe "rushing" shots I took with Tjie Poo and Charlie Van Tassel.  This is the end of a rush as this fellow hit the water.  As you can see from the settings below, it was a very bright day giving me challenges managing the whites.

Nikon D4  Nikkor 600mm  1/1600  f/9  ISO250  RAW  White Balance Auto  Tripod, gimbal  Processed in Lightroom CC 2015, Photoshop CC 2014, NIK and TK

Thank you for your comments.  devil

Great action, Patrick, and I love that triple eye reflection.  I can imagine seeing something like that when reviewing images.  Excellent work.

Patrick: what's not to like about a very well executed action/behavioral shot? On what aspect of the photo did you use the TK masks? Reason for asking is that I'm about to take the plunge. Richard

Richard,

I used TK to dampen the whites.  It is a great program.  I recommend it without reservation and it is the highest value dollar per dollar program I own.  Keith Bauer is an expert with the program.  He can answer questions better than I can.

I like this a great deal Patrick, love the comp with the splash and the dive.  My only suggestion is a little more room on the bottom if you have it.  devil
