This photo of a male White-necked Jacobin was made on the last day of our trip to Trinidad and Tobago this February. While exploring the trails around Asa Wright, an unusual rain shower forced us to the veranda of the lodge. Which turned out to be an awesome experience as many of the birds around the lodge took advantage of the warm rain shower to bathe.

Stunning shot - the white tail, rain and green background are so ideal
Perfect! Wouldn't change a thing!
Very cool, Ken. Hummingbirds in the water are always a joy, even whenit's a cold NW spring rain. Wonderful colors and detail.
Ken: that's really an intersting and unique shot. I like the strong colors of the bird against the muted and clean backgound. The falling rain drops and the collected drops on the bird add to the image. Congrats. Richard
Ken this is super, cracking little bird and a wet scene, lovely!
Keith.
Cool shot of this Jacobin. They are feisty little guys!! Nicely captured.
This little guy would be cool all by himself, but this pose, set against this background, really is stunning.
Nice work as usual Ken!
Awesome, Ken. A wonderful capture that really tells a story. Excellent work.
Great shot! Really like the action of the bird and the rain drops as you have captured them. The veranda it great. Thanks for sharing.
The colors on this one are rich and vibrant. Love the splayed tail and the raindrops are a nice addition. Well done.
Beautiful bird and capture, Ken! Amazing colors, nice sharp details and the rain streaks plus water drops on it's feather are icing on the cake. Killer image!

Ken,
Great shot of a wonderful colorful subject. The combination of the fanned tail, the raindrops and the puffed up feathers makes this a winning photo.
Hey Ken,
