A rare, but not unusual visitor arrived here this afternoon shortly after a rain storm that left all the foliage saturated with water as well as color.

Canon 7Dii, Canon 400 2.8 w/1.4 ext. ISO400  1/1000 @ f5.0 PP in LR4

Really like this one. The colors are great. My only suggestion would be a bit more room on top and bottom. Well done.

Neil:

I think this all works together very well.   The color palette is really nice.  Excellent details in the blacks and whites.  I like the composition as presented.

Great color palette, pose, detail, and background.  My only small nit would be to clone out the bright spot in the right lower corner, but as I said a small nit for what is a beautiful shot.  Well done.devil

Very beautiful image !  Great detail in the bird's feathers and a wonderful spread of yellow and green in the fg and bg - the perfect complement to the colours of the bird.

Nice one, Neil.  I'd love to see one of these.  I like the young leaves and buds as a frame.
