Another in the courting series. It was interesting that the male offered up a gift before the courting began. Sound familiar, guys? It is also interesting how much smaller the male is.

Processed using Lightroom 5 and Photoshop CC 2014. Comments and critiques welcome

Another nice one, Jerry.  I just hope the weather eventually clears up for you.  This has been an excellent series.

Nice shot of their behaviour Jerry. Love the soft greys and pastel colors in this, and the sharp detail in the branch.

This series is a fascinating look at the mating behavior of Kites, Jerry. Very interesting

Unfortunate that you been blessed with such grey skies for this, but it does render a shadowless light that envelopes the birds. Hopefully, your weather changes for better shooting soon.

Very nice look at this behavior and I like the perch.

Jerry, you're really rubbing it in on these Kites! sad Teasing of course...just envious is all. BTW, I did see close to 20, but couldn't for the life of me find their nests and they never seemed to perch. They were soaring very high, so no good images really to speak of...but I did finally find them.

As far as this one goes...love the clean look, the soft BG compliments this nicely and the intimate feel really sends this one over the top for me.
