Dracula Kite

That's what came to mind when I first saw this image on my camera monitor. It's really interesting how the male uses his wings to hang on.  Still rainy here in Fort Worth. The weather officials here in Texas estimate that we have gotten enough rain to cover the entire state in 8 inches of water. I'm hoping for a break in the weather soon so I can capture these guys in  some decent light. Processed using Lightroom 5 and Photoshop CC 2014. Comments and critiques welcome.

Glad to know your'e still afloat, Jerry.  A very cool image.  Great poses and I like how the red in the wings is showing.

Hi Jerry,

Hope the rain ends soon too.  I like the high key presentation and the details in the birds and perch.  Well donedevil..............Jim

Hi Jerry

Good job handling the white and blue-gray levels in this photograph.

For some weird reason Jerry, this reminds me of Dracula. The wing position seems like a cape to me and think it makes this one very cool and unique. Nice image.

This has been a great series, Jerry, but it creates the impression that birds are horny dogs.sad Nice work on the exposure and capture.

Keep dry and safe in all that rain.
