Patricia - I love those Swirls (as you might imagine from the many Rose swirls I photograph) and I particularly like the formation here with only the lower petals fully opened.
I hope this one was also scented.

Patricia: Really nice crisp whites and a very nice comp. Even though they are the same size I prefer looking at the larger version because of the white border. I think I would edit the site frame on the 720 shot to a lighter color so the edges of the image don't blend in quite so much. >=))>

Beautiful, Patricia. Well times for the swirl shape, and the light is excellent.

Such a creamy white! It is unusual to find a gardenia this symmetrical. All the one's I seem to find are a twisted mess.
Good job, Patricia!

Relly lovely, Patricia, the creamy white of the center of the flower is an attention grabber!

Exquisite textures in the petals, Patricia, and a fine treatment of the light and shade - I lovw the fsense of the flower centre emerging from the frame !

Beautiful image with the swirl of the upper petals, I assume to unfold eventually. I can almost smell the sweetness. Nice soft light and the dark background works very well. Not sure if I like seeing the subtle green leaves in the background or if it's distracting. Still, a lovely image.
