This was taken midday, so the moon had little detail, but I liked the simplicity of the image. What do you think?

Hey Rand,

This appeals greatly to my taste for stark simplicity in some photos. In some ways it feels almost like a simple logo, perhaps even reminiscent of NASA's. Due to the angle of the contrail, there's almost a "saturn" feel to it as well. It would be interesting to play with the general shapes- converting to BW; twisting the Levels way out of whack; pushing brightness and contrast; whatever. It looks like fun to play with.

Nicely done!

Very cool shot. I like the colors and the simplicity. You had a great eye to catch this, I think.

I agree that catching this shot shows some real vision Rand. Nicely done. The lack of detail in the moon helps you out here I think. Very cool.

Surreal!! Any more detail in the moon and the mood would be lost. I agree with some other comments, I'd like to play with this in PS. There is a lot of potential for some interesting results. However, GREAT as it is.

Rand,

Nice work. I scrolled back and forth looking at your photo. I'm too much of an amateur photogrpaher to technically comment on your photo. But, I found it very interesting, eye catching, and enjoyable.

Thanks for sharing.
