Another Black Chinned Hummingbird female from this morning. This little girl came up to my Red Yucca at just the angle I was hoping for.
Cropped a bit from the top to accentuate the longer horizontal flavor of the composition.
Similar specs as the last couple of hummingbird images.
Canon 7D Mark II, 70-200 f/4
1/250 @ f/13, ISO 250
4 Canon 430 EX II flashes, 3 for the hummer, 1 for the artificial background.
Larger version is much better than the smaller for this image.

This is just beautiful Keith! You have nailed that multi-flash setup. And yes, the large version rocks! Are you using diffusion on the flashes, if so what type? Outstanding photo!
Another awesome hummingbird photo Keith! I really do like the natural feel of this image. Your multi-flash technique is perfect.
Sweet One
Keith: nicely lit and natural looking with no indication at all of the use of flashes. Like the pose, flower stalk and b/g. Congrats! Richard
Perfect! I really have no nits. This is a lovely, well crafted image.
I think so far, this is my favorite of the series Keith. I really like the position of the hummer in the frame, the perfect wing position and the flowers moving diagonally from left to right...which feels natural since this is the way we are taught to read in this country. Very nice work once again!
Can't see how this could be any better. Excellent composition and I really like the background colours. Graham
