JD - The Wonder Dog

This is JD, the most photographed river rat mascot on the St. Johns River. We were taking a lunch break on a small beach along one of the many rivers in the area.  Although JD looks cool and laid back, he was fearlessly guarding the cameras and supplies. This is one of the hundreds of photographs I made during my adventure with Mike Ramy's Florida Spring Break Tour.  It was a once in a lifetime experience.

Hi Elizabeth, welcome to NPN.  I was touring with Mike the week before you and have a number of my own, "JD shots".  This is considerably better than any of my shots of JD.  You've got some fine light and a good look from JD.

Wonderful photo of this pooch! You captured the serious experession of his job duties in his working environment.  I'm a huge fan of mixed breed dogs as well!

Hey Elizabeth,
This is such a sweet image and one of the best of JD ever, unfortunately that includes mine and Mark's and we were shooting him all day on one outing for an upcoming pet related 'Weekly Challenge'. Of course, as you know, JD is quite the 'Lady's Man' and will do anything to gain their affection. The title of this image is perfect, I am constantly wondering were he is, wondering if he will come when called, wondering what he's barking at . . .
It was such a pleasure having you on this trip and I hope your schedule allows for you to join JD and me next year. I am still amazed at your, what can only be described as, 'Eagle Eyes'. Your ability to spot all the various birds and wildlife at distances that I could hardly see with binoculars was unbelievable to say the least. enlightened

Well no doubt JD looks like he is a scrappy little guy with serious duties on his mind. A great take on this fine looking gentleman...enlightened

Very nice portrait of JD. He looks like he's on alert. You might think about cropping from the right to eliminate that bright item. Ilike his life jacket.
