Green Heron with Catch

Paraded is a very apt descriptor for this pose, Ray.  I really like this angle on the bird and the low angle you got.  Excellent dof to get it crisp from fish nose to behind the legs.  My only nit is the oof foreground blob in the lower left-I'd be sorely tempted to do something about it.

Very nice as presented. The fish adds interest, as does the raised foot. Good detail and exposure; pleasing setting and complimentary background colors.

Superb capture.  Great colors, focus, detail, bokeh and I think the seaweed is a nice touch.  What puts it over the top for me is the eye contact with the bird and the fish.  Really well done

I absolutley love this image Ray. The first thing I thought of when I saw it was "Fish dinner with a side salad to go". The low POV and sharp details really make this a sweet capture.  The oof rock in the foreground is not ideal but certainly does not detract IMO. The background is very complimentary.  Well done Ray!

Really liking this one Ray. The fish is always a nice bonus, the BG color is very complimentary, the raised leg is great and you had a nice angle and very clean BG. What else can you ask for? Great job!

Love this one Ray!  Great eye contact with both bird and fish, the raised foot, the salad, the background.  If the crop held up I think it would make a nice vertical as well.
