The hunt is on...... when the mother too joined the cubs and attacked the Croc.
And the Croc started retreating into the lake.

7 commentsJagdeep, I like this shot! Along with the framing of the tigers and excellent technical execution, the water could pass as the sky it is so smooth, which lends an almost abstract feel to the photo.
Thanks for sharing!
Wow, great behavioural shot Jagdeep. Looks like the croc has a buddy out there too.
Jagdeep: very interesting behaviorial shot with all three tigers poised for action. It's really rare to see tigers ready to attack a croc. Was there an attack or did the croc just slide away into the water? Richard
Hi Jagdeep,
This one is also a "winner", but have to say I preferred the previous one with the two cubs looking so "cautious" about interacting with the croc (that one was just a classic). But this one is definitely a good addition to the story (and - in my view - these shots would be strongest if they could be presented together in most presentations and/or exhibits).
Cheers...

Very cool Jagdeep, I just noticed the other croc out in the water, at first I was going to suggest cloning it out but now that I can recognize what it is I would leave it in.
Jagdeep,
A great "further episode", what happened bext?
Thanks friends!
It was indeed an attack, after this Croc retreated into the water and Tigress with her three cubs moved on.
