Bare-faced Curassow

Another look at the Bare-faced Curassow.  This is the male.  It was photographed at Pousada Rio Claro, Mato Grosso, Brazil.  This was taken early in the morning using a Nikon 810 camera, a 300 2.8 lens, HH, f4, 1/800 ISO 1600.

Thanks for looking and critiques or comments appreciated.

New one for me May, nice hair do. You did a really nice job keeping the details with the dark colors and the light ground here. Perfect DOF on this. Well done.

This is a beauty May!!!

Awesome Detail! I really like your low perspective and the complimentary colors of the background too.

Beautiful image, May.  Great pose witht he lifted foot and your exposure is just perfect to bring out the details in the dark plumage without looking overdone.

Great image of the curassow, May. Excellent angle and details of the feather pattern.

Love that "hair-do". You did a great job on the blacks. Very interesting looking fellow you managed to capture here.
