Caiman

This Caiman enjoys a fish on the bank of a river in the Pantanal.  This image was taken on a great trip to Brazil with Nate Chappell.  This shot was taken from a boat using a Nikon D810 camera, a 300 2.8 lens, a 1.4 teleconverter, f 6.3, ISO 320, 1/3200

Thanks for looking and critiques or comments apreciated.

Not sure I have seen too many Caiman images with prey and open jaws. Great timing on this one May!

Very neat action photo!  The exposure for the fish in the caimans mouth is right on.  Great detail and color throughout.  Thanks for sharing.

Great, May.  I especially like that you have managed to show us rich interesting color without a feeling of over-saturation.  The open mouth with teeth and fish are a great focal point...and the drops of water suspended in air between the jaws make it perfect.  Thanks for sharing this one.

The larger image is a must see. Love the fish and drops in the open mouth. The colors are rich and spectacular. Well done.
