One from last week - one of our small honeyeater species here in southern Australia. This is a threat pose as another bird landed on a nearby branch out of frame. Thanks for looking, Greg.

Lovely image with the vegetation framing the subject. The flash worked well in putting some pop in the subject's feathers................Jim
You have a winner here in my humble opinion Greg ! Bird, pose, framing: all simply magnificent !

Just about perfect. Well done.
Terrific as presented. Nice copmposition. Flash handled well.
I really admire this and other works you have submitted, Greg. You always seem to have subject and supporting habitat so carefully composed. This is high craft!
Excellent in every way.
Wonderful pose, Greg. That spread tail is really cool.
Absolutely beautiful. The bird is so beautiful, and everything on the image is great.
Greg,
Truly amazing capture, perfect pose wonderfully framed
Absolutely beautiful Greg as usual. The colors, framing vegetation and a really cool bird all make this a fantastic image!
Really stunning image Greg! I have always liked your setups, but this one takes the cake. I think the flaired tail feathers with the head turn and extended tongue make the comp perfect. Really terrific image. Probably one of my top 3 favorites I have seen from your posts (and that's a bold statement considering your body of work).
