The Bystraya river. Kamchatka, Bystrinsky nature park. July 2015.

1/250 sec at f/10, ISO 800.

Some luminosity masks adjustments and dodging and burning a little.

Nice swing to the composition and a well rendered stormy sky.  I like the perspective too.

This is a very nice scene and I especially like the feel it has. That sky worked out great for this image. The only thing I might do would be to crop the bottom to just above the dark ground showing through the small trees. Just a thought because it seems to work fine as is too.

Neat.  This looks a lot like Alaska.  I like the S-curve of the river, and detail in the trees down by the river. There's a nice sense of depth and perspective in this.  The deep green and the clouds are good, too.

Like Nick, my only thought would be maybe trying a crop on the bottom, to get rid of the bases of those little trees in the FG, as I find that slightly distracting.

The curve of the river works very well in leading the eye back from the autumn leaves of the foreground birch.  The gray clouds work well to portray the cool, autumn weather.  A imagine autumn comes quite early to this area.

This year, in Kamchatka we have the very late summer. That's why july's photo looks like it is autumn!

Thank you for comments and thoughts about image.
