Love the yin and yang of this comp, Ian—The sharp detail of the cosmos and the soft and dreamy greenery framing it.devil

Lovely image, Ian.  Excellent job on the bloom itself and I love the textures of the bg foliage.

I love this floral photo Ian. I like all: the vital center full of details and light, the excellent white of the petals, the selective focus in the BG ... all.

Hi Ian, a wonderful delicate flower shot - focus spot on. The background on the right is wonderful and an excellent counterpoint to the flower.  I would have suggested pushing the top left a little just to lighten it slightly but the left hand side of the image already seems to be suffering from some noise issues.  (Actually I don't have a problem with luma-noise but its a shame that its not more even ...)  In fact, the background on the right is so good, I did wonder whether there was enough space to do a tighter square crop losing most if not all of the darker left hand side ... not a critic just a thought
Cheers, Mark

The perfect Cosmos image Ian, such a sharp and clean flower. What a loverly background, this really makes the image stand out for me. The variation in the lighting is also very effective. Graham

A very nice portait, with great supporting foliage, Ian.  Nicely done.
