Yellow-Rumped
by Luke Ormand
This morning I got up well before sunrise to make the trek to the migration mecca on Long Island (Jones Beach West End II) for the first time this year. I used to go every saturday/sunday in late september/october but life has gotten in the way. I really was hoping for raptors but they were scarce today. Having plenty of photos of yellow-rumped warblers on my hard drive already (they are by far the most common warbler around), my goal today was to find attractive backgrounds/perches/settings to enhance the beauty of the bird.
