A Walk In The Park

This was taken at the Railroad Park Bridge in Sequim, Washington just a few months before a heavy rainstorm with debris from fallen trees damaged the 100 year old trestle.  Repairs are currently being made with completion scheduled for late December 2015.
Equipment used: Nikon D800, Nikkor 14-24mm lens at 18mm, f16, 1/30th sec., ISO 800, with tripod

Really like all of the fine detail in the bridge walkway.  Curious why you chose ISO, as it would seem you would get a cleaner image with a lower ISO. Leaf / tree movement from wind maybe?

Welcome Gina.  Good dof, clarity and subject.  Hope to see more posts in the near future.

Hi Harry, I could not see a way to reply directly to your question below so I hope you see this post.  The ISO was an oversight.  You are correct in that using a lower ISO would have produced a cleaner image.

Thank you for the comments.

Welcome to NPN, Gina. This is a wonderful scene. One can only hope to have such a peaceful outing such as this vacant bridge in some beautiful weather. The angle of view from this perspective worked perfectly too. enlightened

Splendid, Gina! I love the leaves in the foreground and the low POV.

Gina,
Lovely photo.  I really like how the boards and leaves are so detailed and my eye is led to the dend of the bridge.  It has a lot of interest and keeps me coming back.  devil

Very nice, Gina.  This reminds me of lots of boarwalks in my neck of the woods.  Ilke your "rule of thirds" choice with the comp, and the downframing to emphasize the leaves in the FG.  And nice choice of aperture to keep everything in focus.
