This is a repost of the first image I posted here on NPN. My friend Ronnie Gaubert talked me into joining in 2004. I have tried in vain to find the original. Shot in October at Northlake Nature Center in Mandeville, same location as my last post.

This is wonderful for the subtle colors and inviting bridge. The lighting is nice, too, though I might consider darkening a little the tree trunks on the upper left.

This is simply a lovely photo. The curve of the footbridge is so appealing as it leads my eye into the photo. It makes me want to take a walk there.

This is a lovely look into this swamp, Bill. The boardwalk makes a fine leading line, inviting me to go walking and the overall brightness, especially in the distance, adds to that invitation. I do think some burning in of the brightest areas in the upper left would be good.

The bridge is placed perfectly for a lead-in to the trees beyond. The subtle coloring in the trees is just enough to give one the impression off fall.
