Patrick,

Solid shot! There's not a thing I would change about it and I love that you used a little longer exposure. Nice job!

I absolutely love the colors in this, and the slower shutter speed really makes the water wonderful.  We get a sense of time with the weathered pier posts and the soft water.  I might be inclined to clone out a bit of the board exiting the frame top right just so it doesn't push my eyes out of the frame.

You've captured some great details and a fine sense of motion in the water, Patrick.  That's set off well by the strong, stark verticals of the pylons and how they fade into the distance.  Very nice!

Marylynne, thank you for the suggestion to crop the post on the right.  I think it is an improvement.

A very striking graphical image, Patrick!  The HDR type of processing works very well for this scene and adds to the artistic impact.  Nice job!

I like the sort of abstract feel to this. Seeing all those posts under the pier is mesmerizing.
But I'm a bit of a"naturalist" when it comes to HDR processing and saturation, so this is a little too strong in that respect for me.

Gary and Genny, this is not an HDR image.  It is from a single frame.
