Gorgeous color Daniel - sure hard to beat those greens of the Gorge. Beautiful image and what a dynamic composition. That fern leaf is awesome and rightfully and prominantly takes center stage, but with a beautiful backdrop of the cascades and surrounding, lush foliage. The super bonus? that leaf! Ok, so it's a little cramped in that corner, but really adds a wonderul element.
Oh, oh, I almost didn't see it, but what is that red stick-like thing below the fern on the lower right? Closer inspection looks like your walking poles? below the red, looks like a black handle. The image is most certainly worthy of getting rid of it.

Beautiful image Daniel. You are developing quite a signature. Love everthing about this except the red hiking staff tip and a handle grip beside it. Easy enough to fix. Very nice work.

I showed my partner the image as "find the mistake"... then forgot to clone it out

Top notch image, Daniel. I really like the comp with the use of the fern as the foreground. Nicely done. To me, the water in the waterfall has a slight greenish hue (which may be natural). Again, excellent image.

This is a nice tranquil image, but I am conflicted with the yellow leaf in the LLC. It just takes me away from enjoying ferns and waterfall. The falls also look to have an Orton effect going on, with a slight glow. May just be my eyes.

Jim, thanks. Didn't like the way the falls looked at 1/4 sec and too much breeze to go any longer, so threw in a little Orton effect in postprocessing.

I love the fern! I do think the background could be more blurred, but this works as it is. I also wondered what the red thing is in the lower right corner? The color and sharpness of the fern is excellent.

Really nice take with the big fern in the foreground. Like the repost without the red hiking stick! This "rivulet" looks more like what we call a waterfall in California. I'm conflicted about the yellow leaf. But just beautiful with or without!
