This Thanksgiving time made me think of my visit to my birth place Kathmandu, Nepal for a family festival get together this past March… While I was there, went for a hike in nearby forest hill for some birding and found this small fella posing nicely on a eye level branch.

Love the setting and the framing of the owl. Nice to have him looking into the camera. For me, I might like to see a bit more light on the face. Would love to have it in my files.
