Proud To Be A Piglet

This warthog piglet walked very confidently past the car - I couldn't help smiling and thinking he thought he was on the catwalk.

He does appear to be proud. Cute pose. My only suggestion is to darken the little guy a bit. Looks a little overexposed.

Ingrid,

the pose of the wartdog is really typical and your asociations a very well shown in the image. What it makes special to me is the adult wartdog walking in at the background. All over the image looks a bit bright, not overexposured, and like Jerry sugested I would darken it a bit, may be -0.5 stpos.

Ingrid,
I agree with the others on the brightness, and I am not to sure whether the adult adds much

Hmmm...how very strange....on my (calibrated) screen this image doesn't come across as too bright at all. The background was light and he's walking in the sun so what can I say? Ken, I specifically wanted an adult in the image to emphasize the fact that this is a youngster posing, which might otherwise not be so clear, especially to people not familiar with the warthog. Anyways, I look foward to further comments and thank you all for taking the time to think and comment about this one!

Hi Ingrid, you created a very cute shot in what looks like difficult light, I like the oof adult in the background, I think in an ideal world they would have a bit more separation but I doubt there was anything you could have done differently here, neat shot! devil

Hi Ingrid,

Cute - and I think your "catwalk" comment is right on the mark. I do think your decision to include an adult in the background was a good one. Just as an FYI, I checked this one on a few different monitors (calibrated) on this end and I agree with the brightness comment of the others.

Cheers and thanks for sharing this one...

Hi Ingrid,
Love the attitude of youth in this one. The wiser parent may be less assuming. I like that the you resisted closing down the aperture. The OOF parent doesn't distract much from the main subject.

Cheers,

Hisham.

Adorable - this little guy is strutting his stuff.  With respect to the one in the background - I wish it either weren't there or the whole frame was shifted forward so I could see more.  I do appreciate the size comparison it provides - but think it's just a little tight to the right

It does look like it's really full of itself enlightened  I like the composition with the focus on the little one but including the parent to put it in context.  Nice capture, Ingrid!
