Preston, I love this one! All of your Yosemite Details images are really nice but this one is my favorite of them all. Excellent composition and you captured the best of these conditions. The feel this has is just wonderful.

Very nice, Preston. Nice combination of elements in a very cohesive comp. I like the bare trees and touch of color.

PB,

Can I use the word lovely?  Just tired of using beautiful all the time.  Well done my friend!  Between you and Harley, you have Leidig Meadow dialed in.

What I love most about this image is the graduating, thin veil of mist/fog.  It's just like a graduated ND filter where the fog is strongest at the bottom, and very evenly and gradually disappears as you get to the top. I love the result!

If I had a wish, I would ask if there is any additional room up top?  Very, very minor.  The tree on the right is clipped, while the one on the left, just barely.  I'm being picky.

Wonderful image Preston!

Hi Preston crying   You captured this misty scene  wonderfully  well.     I also like the graduating thin  vail  of  mist. filtering the  layers  of colors.

A nice misty image, Mr. Birdwell. I thought the same as Lon about room at the top, but minor stuff. Very nice.

Truly beautiful detail and understated colors. The dark evergreen background gives a  mysterious feeling to the otherwise "airy" scene.

Excellent Preston. One of your best of this genre. I think it would have looked great even without the fog. Again, for me, it's the trees against the darker background that does it. In this case, the proportions and layout of all these trees seems about as good as it can get. I would say 'good find' but I know it takes a lot more than 'finding' to seeing a good composition.

I think this is my favorite of the images you have posted with the meadow and trees. This is a nice series.

The low lying mist in the foreground sets the mood.  I like the way the density of the mist is graduated towards the top of the frame.
Looks like Lon had the same impression.  Very nice.

I find this a quite remarkable Yosemite image. Over the years I've seen tons of stuff from this NP but I'm happy to be able to see something like this which makes it all fresh and makes me want to linger and explore for a long time.

Very nice Preston, the frost covered meadow and the light fog really add to the feeling of late fall. Nice job!
