The Prize

A better look at the rather large vole this Great Egret managed to capture.  I found the Egret's behavior after the capture extremely interesting and will document it in another few images.

5D3, 300mm  f4 ISL + 1.4TC, hand held from truck, f/5.6, 1/8000, iso 320, aperture priority, pattern metering, -2/3 EV.  Processed in LR5 & CS6.  Cropped to 12.8 Mpixels.  Taken at 11:04 am on December 31st, 2014.
