Whitetail buck

Photos of whitetail deer are fairly common, this photo and others I took over the same time span make up my favorite deer images of 2015.  I found a location where I could drive close to fields the deer were feeding in the late afternoon/early evening without disturbing them.  I like this particular image with food hanging from it's mouth.

The spotted fawn creates a nice contrast with the larger buck.

A nice image, John.  I like the velvet covered antlers and the fawn off to the side adds some additional interest to the image.  Gorgeous light.

Yeah, he needs his mom to wipe his chin.  You've got some fine light and a great pose here John.  It's also neat having the fawn next to him.
