Under the Moonlight
by Richard Teller
What a beautiful morning. It was in single digit temps with no wind and a beautiful sky. This old house is a favorite subject of mine. I was out shooting it from all kinds of angles this early morning. The branches of the trees are cut off on the right, but I tried to move to include and the moon was not behind the tree which I liked or the house would be to centered. So this is the shot I liked the best. I shot some image using the front of the house, but it looked like a deer yard there were so many tracks and trails in the snow. Thanks for your comments and critiques.

Effective image at portraying the cold and crispness of sunrise.
Not beautiful... it's gorgeous! Fantastic stary night image. Perfect time as you still have the morning colors of dawn, yet also the night sky. What is subtle but just as striking for me is the tree shadow in the snow. Just a great touch to this scene. I love this image.
The only mildly distracting element might be the lone fence post. But I think the rest of the scene is more than enough to compensate. ;-)
Way to brave the cold!

What a lovely image. I like the way the shadows of the branches combine to make a leading line into the house and moon. Simply stunning. Agree, you should print it and hang it.
