Reflective Heron

I was trying to shoot this Great Blue Heron and it's reflection the last time I went to Ridgefield NWR.  I wasn't getting anything I really liked so I finally decided to see how it would work just shooting the reflection without the bird itself.  I flipped it in post processing.

7D2, Sigma 150-600mm Contemporary at 283mm, f/7.1, 1/2000, iso 400, aperture priority, pattern metering, -2/3EV.  Processed in LR5 & CS6.  Cropped from both sides to a 4x5 aspect ratio-full height.  Taken December 30th at 11:27 AM.

Comments and criticisms are welcome and appreciated.

Thanks,

Well, it certainly has a strange character from the flipped reflection. I find it interesting and worth a second look.

I'm not sure what to comment, other than it is an interesting effect.

It is surprisingly sharp for being a reflection. An almost optical surface on the pond.
