Texas Titmouse

My first time photographing this cute bird. Found him in Honey Creek Natural Area in South Texas. The background is a little busy, but that is where these guys hang out.

Processed using Lightroom 5 and Photoshop CC 2014. Comments and critiques welcome.

Lovely bird and a nice pose, with the hea turn and the crest just below the branch. The larger version has excellent detail ! devil

This must be viewed in the detail version to get the full impact of this very good image. Also like the position the titmouse is in, no hot spots in the plumage and crisp details. The small branches tend to frame the bird nicely. It is good that you were able to catch it in a pose with only a small twig behind it. Thanks for sharing.

Excellent, Jerry Terrific detail and the background doesn't bother me at all.

One nit: it may be a Texas Titmouse by geography but it is a Black-crested Titmouse by taxonomy. cool

Very sweet shot. Agree about the background but like esp the placement of the bird. Maybe brighten it a little to stand out more from that bgd?
