Sierra Nevada a couple of years ago with some nice cloud structure backing up the snowscape.

A very dynamic B&W winter scene, Dave!  Great job with a difficult exposure.  You kept those bright highlights under control while still maintaining lots of detail in the trees and rocks.  Very well shot!

I agree you did a good job controlling the whites in this one.  Love all the texture in the snow, and the dark elements contrast very nicely.

A dynamic B&W for sure.  The detail in the snow texture held up well.  The shadows in this one really show the contours of the snow, and enhance the cloud.  Well done.

Those clouds make a perfect sky for this snow scene, Dave.  Love all of the whites with a nice scattering of darker areas.

Those clouds make a dramatic background for the snow scene with that great dinosaur snag.
Nice conversion, with the bright whites that I like, without losing details.

Very artistic image.  I can almost feel the clouds rolling in over the hill.  The textures in the snow held up exceptionally.  Well deserved win.

Hey Dave,
Very nice in all respects, with wonderful detail in the virgin snow and perfect tonal range throughout.
Congratulations on the WP . . .  devil
