Texas Red-Tailed Hawk

I found this Red-Tailed hawk while out shooting Kestrels. He was very accommodating. The setting is a bit busy, but shows the typical habitat. Processed using Lightroom 5 and Photoshop CC 2014 along with Light Crafts Lightzone. Comments and critiques welcome.

Nice pose and good exposure on this bird.  Not quite as sharp as most of your photos.  Redtails seem to frequently perch behind lots of branches.  I have encountered this a lot and it can be frustrating.  Nice to include its environment though.

Excellent job on the focus, Jerry.  While it's a bit busy, the branches are all small and I don't find them particularly distracting.  Nice job.

Great eye contact here Jerry and I like the branch which swirls above his head.  If it were mine I would crop some from the left and include more on the right as he is kind of looking out of the frame as posted and I think more of a centered crop would work better in this case. devil
