Stepping Stones

I loved photographing these little guys this past year. In this photo the fox kit is carefully walking across the mouth of the den. It was pretty cool watching them learn to walk. When we first found them (this photo is one of those instances) they were so wobbly while walking, and it was pretty adorable watching them trying to figure it out.

Thanks for looking and let me know your thoughts!

The leg in the air makes it for me - great timing.  The crop works well too.  He does look a little tentative.

Cool and cute.  How about darkening the OOF bright horizontal line that goes from in front of nose to right edge of frame, just enough to reduce eye pulling brightness?

Hi,

Large version looks pretty good.  You could selectively darken the light stripe according to Lon's critique.  Good detail on the "kit fur"--very cute & fuzzy...................................Jim

Very cute, Jenaya. I also agree about darkening the horizontal line but the fox itself can be a tad lighter.

Cheers,

Hisham.
